Smiley, approachable, and unquestionably professional, I am, first and foremost, proud mum, to daughter Beth.

Family is hugely important to me.

Conscious that life is short, and having spent over forty years in the corporate world, it’s time for me to step out into a much desired role; one of service and care.

This has been a journey in the making, and one that’s been supported by years of independent study, whilst working full-time and raising my daughter.

I’m a Reiki Master Teacher, Psychotherapist, Mental Health First Aider and Dementia Friend. I’m Head of Business Development & Client Relationships for a regional law firm and former Chair of the Sevenoaks District Chamber of Commerce.

I live and breathe client care. My desire is to always provide an exceptional service, and to hold space for those with whom I engage.

The history behind the imagery ...

My imagery was created by the lovely Claire Alalouf (Claire Dudley Designs) to reflect my genealogy.
Born in Aberdeen, to a Swiss mother and Scottish father, my emblem holds both the Thistle and Edelweiss intertwined, representing the countries I hold dear.
The Thistle is the national flower of Scotland and has been the symbol of Scottish heraldry for over 500 years. It symbolizes strength, courage, and perseverance. It is a flower that has been used in bridal bouquets since medieval times, and in Celtic cultural tradition, represents nobility and graciousness.
Edelweiss or in German 'Edelweiß' it is a combination of 'Edel' which means noble and 'Weiß' which means white, giving a literal translation of ‘noble white’ or ‘noble purity’, it also means devotion. This beautiful flower grows in some of the toughest alpine conditions in the world, and is still worn today, as a symbol of love, bravery, strength and dedication.
Legend has it, that when a gentleman wanted to impress his lady, he would climb up the mountain to bring the flower back, as a special romantic offering, because it proved his courage, purity and love.

My name, Katrina … comes from Greek katharos, meaning "pure”.

Additional credit must go to my beautiful daughter, Beth Walker, for her patience, creative eye and guidance, when reviewing my website, and to my dear pal and Tango buddy, Pete Bennett, who spent an evening with me ‘brain storming’ names, rather than going to our monthly Milonga on February 17, 2023.
